I think you must go for B.A History or B.A Geography.
These two courses will be very beneficial for you.
By doing these courses,you'll cover up many subjects like History,Geography,Constitution of India,National Issues.
These subjects are also asked in the IAS exam.
So if you take up this course,then automatically you'll be preparing for the exam as well!

If you want to become an IAS or IPS officer then firstly complete your graduation because graduation is the minimum eligibility for appearing the IAS exam.
IAS exam is also famous in the name of CSAT exam.
This exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year. only those candidate can appear this exam who are graduate.
This exam is done in three phase
Prelims
Mains
Interview
Clearing all the three stage you will become an IAS or IPS officers.
For appearing the CSAT exam the some eligibility criteria is must which is
Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized university
there is no percentage limit and no restriction of branch or stream in graduation.
Age Limit for general candidate is 21 to 30 year.
3year age relaxation for OBC candidate and 5 year age relaxation for SC/ST candidate.
Nationality should be Indian

After complete the +2 with arts subject now you can take the admission in the B.A with arts subject

History,
Political science
Geography
Sociology
If you want to go with the civil service exam then firstly complete the graduation above subject.
You can took the subject in the graduation according to your +2 subject
Because the civil service exam the qualification is required the candidate must have complete the graduation in any stream from the approved university.
The age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years for the unreserved category, age relaxation for the reserved category.
Attempt of the exam for the unreserved category is the 4 times.
The exam notification is declared by the upsc in the month of the february-2013.
Preliminary exam is held in the month of the May and mains exam held in the month of the October

First of all you have to complete your graduate in any stream from recognized university then you wish to become an IAS/IPS officer. But if you want to try 12th based some exam then you can apply for SCRA or NDA exams for these candidates should be pass only 12th.

I think you must go for B.A. History or geograpy or political science. these core subjects helps further in civil services exams because these subjects are also asked in IAS exam.

If you have the Aim to Join the Indian Civil exam for this after the intermediate you have to join the nay of the graduation course. If you complete the graduation from the recognized college then you are eligible for the Civil service exams.
