The basic requirements or in other words,the criteria for UPSC exams are

~Graduation from any stream from a recognized university from any mode of education.
~Age limit-21 to 30 years for general candidate,21 to 33 years for OBC,21 to 35 years for SC/ST.
~Number of attempts-4 for general candidate,7-OBC,unlimited-SC/ST.

The criteria mentioned above is the for most of the UPSC exams,you should mention the exams name ,so that we can provide you the best results.
The UPSC also conducts for undergraduates like NDA,SARC where the age limit is 16.5 to 19,17 to 21 years respectively.
And the educational qualification is 10+2.

The basic requirements for UPSC Civil Services Exam are as follows-

1. Age Limit:-

21-30 years as on 1/8/2013

2. Educational Qualifications:-

Bachelor�s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification.

3. No. of permissible attempts :-
Four (Seven attemps of OBCs) and no limit for SCs/STs.

final year candidate can also apply.

there is no percentage limit and no restriction of branch or stream in graduation.

Age Limit
Age of the candidate is 21 to 30 year, If he/she belong from general category

Age of the candidate is 21 to 33 year, If he/she belong from OBC category

Age of the candidate is 21 to 35 year, If he/she belong from SC/ST category

Attempt limit
General candidate can attempt 4 times
where as OBC candidate can attempt 7 times
and SC/ST candidate have no limit
