Which stream will be more helpful between Non Medical and Commerce after 10th if I wish to become an IAS officer later?

hey, m Ruhani nd i am giving examz of 10th std nd in future i want to be an IAS officer but m still confused which field i should opt i.e. non med or commerce . please guide me which field will be more helpful?

my dear, from my advice its totaly dapend on your interest regarding selection of any one in both field. you must select a stream in which you are more interested. IN IAS EXAM ,both stream are covered and subjects are opional of both strem .so you can choose your subjects which are related your stream.SO don't take wrong decison in your selectin of strem. .....all the best for your future.

Both Streams are Non-Medical and Commerce good. So you take any one from both subjects.


Firstly see your strength because for both exam need the high skill in the mathematics.


In the non-medical you read the chemistry and physics along with the mathematics.


So check your strength regarding read the subject then select the stream.


Also take the advice from the teachers and your parents .

Hi ruhani no need to get confused about which stream to choose as you can choose any stream depending on your interest.<br><br>In both Non medical and Commerce which field you feel more interested you can opt for it as if you feel your interested field then you can easily start your preparation for upsc exam with you do your studies and don't think much and here are the options for the different fields you opt after 12th<br><br>1.If you choose non medical then you can opt for Bsc degree in any streams i.e Phy.,Che.,Maths or Btech.<br><br>2.If you choose commerce then you can opt for BBA or B.com
