Indian Administrative Service Examination is conduct by UPSC and it is consider as one of the most competitive exam in India.

There are 3 stages in IAS examination process which student need to clear in order to become IAS officer.

• Preliminary Examination
• Main Examination
• Interview

First is Preliminary Examination.

As you know that UPSC preliminary exam consist;-

General studies-200 marks-2 hours

Civil services aptitude test-200 marks-2 hours

General studies consist Environment, General science, Economics, Indian history, Geography, Indian politics

2 marks per correct answers and 1/3 rd negative marking

CSAT exam consist compression, English language compression, General ability, Logical reasoning and decision making.
