If you are strong in your mathematics and have more aptitude for science papers then you may select Physics or Mathematics as one of the optional.You may also select any one of the three engineering papers given by UPSC if you have studied their subjetcs in your course like Electrical Engineeing ,Mechanical Engineering or civil engineering
