Eligibility criteria for exams conducted by upsc:
- Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
- candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
- age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
- age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
- age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.

The General Rule of UPSC is that the candidate must write these exam in order to join in various posts in India.
The General Rule of UPSC would include is that candidate should have satisfy the following headings:
> Nationality
> Age Limit
> Education Qualification
For some exams which are related to defence and police service you need to satisfy the Martial Status and the Physical Standard also.

Eligibility criteria for upsc exams is:
1. Candidate should have completed graduation or engineering from a college under a recognized university.
2. Candidate appearing in final year can also apply for the upsc exam.
3. Age limit for upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
4. Candidate belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets an age relaxation of 3 and 5 years respectively.

21-33 for OBC category
21-35 for SC/ST category
21-40 for physically handicapped .

mentioned in 8th schedule .
