    for upsc candidate must belong to india,
    other rule is that he/she should have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university.

    Eligibility criteria for exams conducted by upsc:

    1. Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
    2. candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
    3. age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
    4. age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
    5. age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.

    Hey friend,

    The General Rule of UPSC is that the candidate must write these exam in order to join in various posts in India.

    The General Rule of UPSC would include is that candidate should have satisfy the following headings:

    > Nationality
    > Age Limit
    > Education Qualification

    For some exams which are related to defence and police service you need to satisfy the Martial Status and the Physical Standard also.

    UPSC means Union Public Service Commission
    Eligibility criteria for upsc exams is:
    1. Candidate should have completed graduation or engineering from a college under a recognized university.
    2. Candidate appearing in final year can also apply for the upsc exam.
    3. Age limit for upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
    4. Candidate belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets an age relaxation of 3 and 5 years respectively.


    Age limit is below :
    21-30 for general category
    21-33 for OBC category
    21-35 for SC/ST category
    21-40 for physically handicapped .


    Number of attempts
    ::4 attempts for general category
    ::7 attempts for OBC category
    ::no limit for SC/ST category

    There's no specific rule for regarding it...

    SO, you dont need to worry..

    This is eligiblity criteria for Civils services :

    >> You must have done Graduation from any Recongnised University by UGC , if Correspondence than DEC.


    >> Age Criteria :

    Minimum age : 21 Years
    Maximum Age : 30 Years.


    >> Number of Attempts :
    General : 4
    OBC : 7
    Sc/ST : No limit.


    >> You Must be Indian Citizen for appearing.

    Final year candidate can also apply for the same

    nationality

    21-30 year for gen.

    for reserved category ,obc 21-33 year

    st/sc 21-35 year

    physical handicapped 21-40 year


    attempts


    in upsc exam gen. Candidate can apply for only 4 time , obc candidate can apply for 7 time

    , st/sc candidate has unlimited .

    You don't apply for mains exam .first you apply for preliminary exam if you clear that

    exam then you can apply for mains exam , and if you clear this exam also then you can

    apply for interview .



    rules for choosing opt. Subject



    paper i (200) marks ,duration: 2 hours

    paper ii (200) marks ,duration : 2 hours

    current events of national and international importance

    you can choose any subject from 22 subjects list of upsc

    you have deep knowledge about the subject to clear the preliminary exam

    for mains exam we can select any of the 18 language mentioned in 8th schedule of

    indian constitute along with a qualifying paper in english .

    Can one select english for the other paper as well as it is also one of the languages

    mentioned in 8th schedule .
