Dear,
there is no any optional subject related to computer science.
you have to choose any of another subject given in the attachment
see the attachment.
as you are from computer science so i suggest you to take physics and maths as an optional subject.
Friend,
-I'm sorry, but by far,THERE IS NO SUBJECT RELATED TO COMPUTER SCIENCE IN THE 'LIST OF OPTIONAL SUBJECTS' ALLOWED FOR THE MAINS EXAMS.
-Taking Past into Consideration, the COMPUTER SCIENCE students have found it easy to opt and prepare for MATHEMATICS in the MAINS Exams.
Computer Students, are probably good at Maths.
- However,I would personally recommend you to go for the ARTS SUBJECTS,if you do have to start from the scratch.
Although, not having Computer related subject in the LIST OF SUBJECTS might be a disadvantage, you might use it to your benefit by preparing for the other subjects right from the start.
- Arts subjects in particular are very scoring. The subjects including PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION,INDIAN HISTORY,GEOGRAPHY and POLITICAL SCIENCE have been among the priorities of all students. These are particularly very scoring when compared to other subjects.
- Added to this, these subjects form the Base of PAPER-I of PRELIMINARY EXAMS.This would help you prepare for both the Prelims and Mains together, thus saving plenty of time.
-However,It is you who will have to take the final call.Choose subjectss based upon your interest. This is the first thing that would help you enjoy studying and achieving success.
MAKE THE CALL AND START PREPARATIONS.WORK VERY HARD.
All The Best.

Hi Friend!!
First, you need to know what is UPSC.
UPSC is Union Public Service Commission which conducts many exams in which Civil Service Exam(CSE).
CSE has a misnomer as 'IAS exam' or 'UPSC exam'.
As for now, there are no Computer Science related subjects in the entire UPSC exams.
But you can choose other subjects from the list : http://www.upsc.gov.in/general/civil.htm#CS (Main)
Subjects like Public Administration, Geography score more in the mains.
You can have all the details abot the CSE at http://www.upsc.gov.in/
I wish you all SUCCESS!
Dear Aspirant
Sorry to say that their is no optional
Subjects for the computer science students
As you have to choose any other subject for the exam as optional
But the subjects like English and general studies are compulsory
And you have to choose other two optional subjects
And you can choose them with your choice
So choose the subjects in which you are strong
And you have to choose the subjects like History
And Geography i am saying this because these will help
You really as they will increase your pats gk as well
As the scores in these subjects are also nice
But the rest of depend on you
So choose the subjects with your own choice
Best of luck
