You will be happy to see that a graduation degree from a Indian recognized university is Enough for For IAS as well as IPS exam.
Civil services exam Eligibility;-
1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university
2-There is no percentage requirement
3-Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible. Age limits;-
General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students. Age relaxation;---
3 years age relaxation for OBC category
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category
10 years for PH candidates

No there is no percentage bar for giving the IAS examination. You only need to be a graduate from a recognized Indian university. You just have to get passed with 33% passing marks that's it

No, there is no %age barrier for exam and if you have passed graduation from recognized university then that is enough for you to apply for the civil services exam..

The essential qualification for the IAS examination is to pass the Bachelor degree in any discipline at any recognized university. So there is no require of percentages in your qualification. NO THERE IS NO PERCENTAGE BAR FOR GRADUATES TO APPLY IN IAS/IPS EXAMS. Although percentage reflects the potential of a student,for IAS/IPS that is not required.Acually the selection process is so tough that it end up with real Jewels in the end.
The educational qualification required for applying in IAS/IPS is graduation from any stream,but there is no percentage bar in IAS,IPs.
The exam that you will be applying for is Civil Service Exams where you will get chance to apply for IAS/IPS.

for the post of IAS or IPS you have to write Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC every year.
for Civil Services you are required only graduation in any discipline. there is no bar of percentage of marks.So you need not to worry about that.you can also apply for the exam while pursuing in final year of graduation. for Civil services your age should be within the limits of 21 years to 30 years. there is also applicable relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

There is no percentage criteria in the civil service examination so never worry for the same as graduation in any discipline from a recognised university is enough to apply for the same.
If you have any doubt then you can see the eligibility criteria given below.
Civil services exammination conducted by the union public service commision of india once in a year.
First of all you need to be a graduate in any discipline to apply for the same .
Then you need to have the age of 21 to 30 years of age.
There will be age relaxation for the candidates if belongs to the following categories-
If you are defence personel who gets injured in the war can get the relaxation of 3 years.
For ex servicemen there will be 5 years of age relaxation.
If OBC then you can get the relaxation of 3 years.
If you are SC/ST then 5 years of age relaxation will be there for you.
Examination pattern is as follows-
-CSAT stands for the civil services aptitude test which is also said to be the preliminary exam that need to be qualified if want to go for the MAINS examination.
In CSAT there will be 2 papers in the same day and you need to qualify both to go ahead.
Papers will be consist of the 200 marks each that will be 400 masrks for bothof them.
-Mains examination requires 9 examination to be cleared and there will the choice for the optional subject also.
There are 9 papers total marks will be 2000 for each of them.
If you qualify the exam then you will be called for the interview and there are 300 marks for the same.
