upsc requires graduated candidates ,
it does not matters in how many years you completed your graduation,
but as you told that you completed your graduation in 7 years so if along with that your age is still eligible for the upsc exams then you can apply,

But you must lie in the age criteria for Civil serivces examinations.

Yes you are eligible for the civil services exam

And you can write the upsc civil services exam

But you just need to pass in graduation from recognized university

and it does not matter that you have passed your graduation in how many years

just need to pass in the graduation

Education Qualification:

The candidate should be pass in graduation

Also the final year candidates are eligible for the exam

You just need to pass in graduation with pass marks

Age :

The candidate age must be 21-30

21-33 for the obc

21-35 for the sc.st

Attempts:

Their is 4 attempts for general

Their is 7 attempts for obc

And no restriction for the sc,st

age criteria is
21-30 for general category
21-33 for OBC category

Just a degree from a recognized university is the basic eligibility criteria.

But age limit is there, Age should be from 21- 30 years at the time of examination.

there is no problem for you, you are eligible for the exam. no doubt you complete your graduation in 7 years. if you have the graduation degree in any stream from the

recognized university and your age between the 21 to 30 years then you are eligible for the exam.

the age limit for the reserve category.

sc/st category 5 years.

obc category 3 years.

the exam notification is declare in the month of the December/January.

the exam held in the month of the May.

mains exam is held in the month September or October

It is only needed that you must have completed a degree and it can be any year before as per the education qualification as you will be eligible for writing the Civil Service exam.

The Civil Service exam which is conducted by UPSC and is held every year.

There are certain other criteria's which are needed to be satisfied along with the education qualification and they are:

>> You need to be a citizen of India

>> The age limit needed for the IAS exam is that the candidate must have completed 21-30 years of age for general category candidate.

>> There are certain upper age relaxation for other category candidates
