Firstly I would say here that any query regarding the hardness of exam depends on how you are commited to achive it..it all depends whether you just want to appear in exam or to crack it....No doubt UPSE is one of the toughest exam in India..,it not only examine the competenc of candidate in the subject concern ,,his awareness of national activity but it also aim at selecting and choosing the competent candidate to be a civil servant,,..so definately this exam is toughest of all...but it is not impossible if you have the potentials...potentials is not inborn but is cultivated with sincere and and honest commitment of your hard work....so all the best..

UPSC exams are not to tough but you have to study well for the exam as its not too easy also.
There are various UPSC exams like:-
NDA
SCRA
IES
IPS
IAS
Army
CRPF etc.

All these exams are conducted by UPSC.
If you get a chance in any of these then you can get a very high salary and get a very good and secure life.

You have to take good preparation for it as all these jobs are for the high posts so it will be a bit tough if not prepared well.
