Hello Friend,

There is no comparison between the two as they belong to different domains. UPSC requires to be not only aware about things but also know their meaning, their impact on an individual, a family, a community, a society, a state, a nation and the world. Whereas the bank and other govt exam have their syllabus well defined, UPSC syllabus is open-ended. You have to different approach for the two types of exams. Anyone who have cracked bank exam is not guaranteed to crack UPSC exam as well and vice-versa.
