There is no fixed age limit for the entire CDS exam.The age limit for CDS varies for all the 4 academy of defence.Following are the 4 academy and their age limits:
Indian Military Academy IMA 19-24years
Officer Training Academy OTA 19-25years
Air Force Academy AFA 19-23years
Indian Naval Acadmy INA 19-22years.
There is no age relaxation for any basis and the age shown here are at the time of joining and not at the time of applying.

UPSC will conduct Combined Defence Service Examination for recruiting candidates to various courses in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy.
Age limit is not same for all services.
Courses under Combined Defence Service Examination and their eligibility conditions are
1)Indian Military Academy:-Unmarried male candidates only are eligible

Educational qualification:degree from recognized university

3)For Air Force Academy:-Unmarried male candidates only are eligible

There is no caste based reservation for CDS examination.

Indian Military Academy - Candidate should have passed degree in any discipline from a recognized university and age should be between 19-24 years for IMA section
Indian Naval Academy - Should posses a degree in any discipline of engineering BE or B.Tech from a reputed institute and age should not be more than 22 years and minimum 19 years
Indian Air Force Academy - Aspirants should have passed bachelor's degree examination of a recognized university with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects or should be graduate in engineering discipline from a recognized university and age should not be less than 19 years and more than 23 years
Officers Training Academy - Any graduate are allowed to apply for this section whose age is not more than 25 years
All those candidates who are pursuing final year of examination may also apply for this test and remember that there is no upper age relaxation provided to any category candidates in any section exam
CDS examination conducted twice a year - CDS I around February and CDS II around August-September and this year's CDS II is going to be held at 08-09-2013 so if you have applied then you should prepare well for examination and if not then you should wait for CDS I 2014 and prepare well for examination

Combined Defense Service (CDS) examination has 4 types of wings included .
But also there will be a different types of age limits are required to apply so, be careful regarding age limits because if have qualified in examination but due to age problem also you may Rejected.
1.Air Force Academy = 19 years to 22 years.
2.Indian Military Academy = 19 years to 23 years.
3.Indian Naval Academy = 19 to 23 years.
4.Officer's Training Academy = 19 to 25 years.
### There is no age relaxation applicable for different categories under CDS examination.

2)OTA-Officers Training Academy-age limit is 19 to 25 years(at the time of commencement of the course,at the time of applying).
3)AFA-Air Force Academy-age limit is 19 to 23 years(at the commencement of the course,not at the time of applying).
