Friend, there is no much difference in the nature of examination of the UPSC and SSC. But we can give some edge to UPSC Examination over SSC examination. Generally, Staff Selection Commission makes recruitment in Group B and Group C posts in Central government while UPSC Examination makes recruitment in Group A and Group B posts in Central government. Both UPSC and SSC are autonomous statutory bodies of Union Government.Wish your bright future

    Hi Aspirant,

Yes friend there are some similarities and some difference in UPSC and SSC exam.

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission while SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission.

Both commission conducts various competitive exam for the recruitment of central government posts in India. Both are the central government bodies.

UPSC conducts its most of the exam for the officer post and most reputed job of India. It conducts exam for the grade a post.

SSC conducts exam for the grade b, C and D post.

The exam pattern of UPSCs exam are much tough than SSCs exam.

Civil service exam conducted by the UPSC is the toughest exam of India.

Therefore there is some similarities and difference in both commissions.

    Best of Luck
