UPSC CSAT exams will have two papers.
Both the papers will be of 2 hours duration each
Maximum marks in each paper will be 200 marks

General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require
subject specialization.

Civil services examinations is conducted by the Union Public service commission .This examination is conducted in three stages which are:
1.Preliminary exam or Civil services aptitude test
2.Main examination
3.Personal interview
Basically Bachelor's degree is the minimum academic qualification required for this examinations along with age range in the 21-30 years with upper age relaxed for the obc and sc/st respectively and having nationality as Indian.
CSAT stands for the Civil services Aptitude test.This is the first stage of the Civil services examinations.Donot worry I am providing you all the necessary details about the CSAT exam.
CSAT consists of of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each with the duration of two hours each and the questions are generally objective type or you can say that multiple choice type.

Note: Candidates who qualify the preliminary test are allowed to give Main examination and who further qualify Main exam are eligible for the personal interview.

In the preliminary exam two papers are held both of them are general studies.
Duration of time the exam 2-2 hours.
Paper is the objective form.
There will be negative marks for the wrong answer.
