Hello Friend,

IR topics:
1- India's relationship with other countries.
2- Special focus on neighbouring countries.
3- Indian role in various international organisations like BRICS, IBSA, UN, WB, IMF etc.
4- Effect of various international decisions on India.
5- India's relationship with US, Russia, Europe, China, Middle East, Africa etc.
6- Awareness about various international groupings.

Economics:
1- Fundamentals of Economics.
2- Monetary, fiscal policies, FDI, FII, divestment and other current economic issues.
3- International economic issues like Eurozone crisis, US fiscal cliff etc.
4- Put special emphasis on effect of various govt decisions on AAM AADMI like "Will cash transfer benefit BPL?". Such questions are more likely these days.

The key is to analyse the current events in a wider perspective. Hope this helps.
