Procedure is that to apply for IRS exam... Just go www.upsc.gov.in and fill online application with your particular details after completed your online reg. you will be get reg. ID or pwd which you have safe for future reference.

To become an IRS officer you must have to crack the UPSC CSAT exam this exam is also known as IAS exam. there is no individual exam for IRS only.
CSAT exam have three phase
1. Prelims 2. Mains 3. Interview
After clearing all the stage you can find the IRS post on the basis of your ranking / merit.
Eligibility Criteria OF CSAT exam
Candidate should be graduate from recognized university
Final year candidate are also eligible for this exam.
there is no limit of percentage marks.
Nationality- must be Indian
