The IPS stands for Indian Police Services,the eligibility criteria for applying in IPS is
1)The candidate must have completed graduation from any stream from a recognized university.
2)Age limit is 21 to 30 years for general candidate
21 to 33 years for OBC
21 to 35 years for SC/ST,ex government employee.
Now the IPS selection takes place in three stages
1)Preliminary Exam.
2)Mains Exam.
3)Interview.
One can proceed to the next phase only if he has clear the previous one.
