dear friend,
you can choose Indian history and Geography as optional subjects.
both the subjects are easy to understand and easy to crack.
Good Luck..........
Hi Friend!!
First, you need to know what is UPSC.
UPSC is Union Public Service Commission which conducts many exams in which Civil Service Exam(CSE).
CSE has a misnomer as 'IAS exam' or 'UPSC exam'.
You're allowed to take the subjects in whatever you're interested.
There are no restrictions on that.
But you better choose one of the subjects as Public Administration because the content of the subject is very less and easy to grasp.
And you need to select only two optional subjects for CSE Mains from the list below :
Agriculture
Management
Animal Husbandry & Vetinary Science
Mathematics
Anthropology
Mechanical Engineering
Botany
Medical Science
Chemistry
Philosophy
Civil Engineering
Physics
Commerce & Accountancy
Political Science & International Relations
Economics
Psychology
Electrical Engineering
Public Administration
Geography
Sociology
Geology
Statistics
Indian History
Zoology
Law
You can have all the details abot the CSE at http://www.upsc.gov.in/
I WISH YOU ALL SUCCESS!!
