    Tell whether horticulture graduate is eligible for UPSC exams or not?

    whether graduate in horticulture applicable for upsc exams? horticulture is a part of agriculture

    yes,In those examination which are held irrespective of your graduation stream few of them are listed below

    you can appear for the examinations

    1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    whose eligibility criteria are :
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    You must be a citizen ofIndia,

    or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.


    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. HOWEVER,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs
    and
    5 years for the SC/STs.


    You must have completed your Graduation orEquivalent,from a recognized university under any
    stream,or be a final year student in the same

    The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,
    7 for an OBC candidate,and
    unlimited for a SC/ST candidate,until he fulfills the age criteria

    2. central police force (CPF) held once every year

    whose eligibilty criteria are

    1.university graduate of any stream either in final year/passed out with 55% in graduation

    2. age limit within 20-25 years relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs
    and
    5 years for the SC/STs.

    3.CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of indian union)

    exam conducted bi-annually

    in which age should be within 18-25 yrs.
    & one must be university graduate from recognised university

    there is no age relaxation for any cateogory

    yes you are eligible for UPSC exams. for UPSC you need only graduation ( any field) from any recognized college or university with any percentage with any percentage.
    your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

    Yes you are eligible being a graduate. As per eligibility criteria required for UPSC:

    Age Limit: - The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age and the maximum age is 29 years.

    Educational Qualification: - The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956.


    List of UPSC exams you are eligible are:

    CIVIL SERVICES EXAM
    COMMON DEFENSE SERVICES EXAM
    CENTRAL POLICE FORCE
    INDIAN FOREST SERVICES

    yes sir

    you are eligible for the civil service exam if you complete the degree from the recognized university which is approved by the

    ugc/aicet.

    age limit:-The age limit is for general category is 21 to 30 years. And attempt the exam 4 times.

    The age limit is for obc category is 21 to 33 years (3 years relaxation). Attempt the exam 7 times.

    Age limit for SC/ST category is 21 to 35 years and attempt chance till overage. Means unlimited

    Yes you are eligible for some UPSC Exams ; if you have your degree in Horticulture from a recognized university and you are inside the age limit to apply for that exam.

    You are eligible for the following UPSC Exams :
    1.Combined Defence Services Examination ( for IMA and OTA)
    2.Civil Services Examination
    3.Indian Forest Service Examination
    4.Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination

    Important points to note: 1.Eligibility conditions for each exam is different so check them in detailed manner before applying.
    2.Relaxation in age and in number of attempts is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
