    Paper I - General Studies - Objective type - 200 marks - 2 hours

    Paper II - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Objective Type - 200 marks - 2 hours

    Examination Pattern for Civil Service Mains Examination 2013

    Paper I - Essay - 200 marks, English Language & Comprehension - 100 marks - Conventional Type - 3 hours

    Paper II - General Studies I - 250 marks - Conventional Type - 3 hours

    Paper III - General Studies II - 250 marks - Conventional Type - 3 hours

    Paper IV - General Studies III - 250 marks - Conventional Type - 3 hours

    Paper V - General Studies IV - 250 marks - Conventional Type - 3 hours

    Paper VI - Optional Subject Paper I - 250 marks - Conventional Type - 3 hours

    Paper V - Optional Subject Paper II - 250 marks - Conventional Type - 3 hours

    To choose subject for optional subject papers, you will get the list in the application form and when you have decided to choose Management as your optional subject for both papers I and II then you must be on your way and just prepare for this subject to score good marks in examination and if you ask about syllabus then you can see that syllabus is more but not too large so you may complete the entire syllabus within 3 months and may revise that twice before mains examination and below I have mentioned major topics asked in the Management subject paper of mains examination :

    The Examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each.
