The selection of candidates is done through three stage in CDSE

3)Interview.
Now CDSE allows to apply for four academy as IMA(Indian Military Academy)- a entry in army,OTA(Officers Training Academy)-a entry in army,AFA(Air Force Academy)-a entry in air force,NA(Naval Academy)-a entry in navy.
But girls can apply for CDSE(OTA) only. All other three are only for boys.

Friend, please note that women candidates are only permitted for applying to Officer Training Academy. And other academies like Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy and Naval Academy are reserved only for male candidates. Please note that just qualifying the written examination does not confirm your success. Thereafter you also have to qualify the SSB Interview and medical test for final selection. As far as the training period is concerned, there is a same duration of training period both for male and female candidates. Presently the training period for both boys and girls is of 49 weeks.
