The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
Nationality:
The candidate must be Indian.
Age Limit: Male candidates (Unmarried) of age between
(i) For IMA: 19-24 years.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
(iv) For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25 years.
(v) For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.
Educational Qualification:
(i) For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.

Combined Defense Services Exam 2013 : UPSC were announced the notification for CDS exam 2013 and the last date for online application were 10th december 2012 and the dates for upcoming CDS exam is following :
>> UPSC board will conduct this exam at 17th or february 2013 means there is not more than 1 and half month left to prepare for this exam because the year 2012 is going to be finish and the new year would begin so most of the UPSC exams would be conducted in year 2013 so you must be prepared well for exams of UPSC and try to qualify this year.

CDS is combined defence services examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in year first examination will be held in 2nd or 3rd week of February 2013 for candidates who applied in NOV-DEc notification and CDS II will be held on 1st week of SEP 2013 for candidates who applied on march- April 2013
