The advertisement of SCRA brings out at the time of October or November every year. And the examination will be held on January or February every year. But the advertisements of SCRA for 2013 has not published yet. The new examination calender will be published at the time of October for the next year. SCRA refers to Special Class Railway Apprentice, this exam is conducted by UPSC. UPSC has already announced the date of application and date of examination. Sorry to say but the last date to file the online application was yesterday i.e Monday, November 12, 2012 and the date of examination is Sunday, January 20,2013.. You need to wait for next SCRA exam.

Next SCRA Exam Date is 20/1/ 2013.
And last date for receipt for application is 12/11/2012.

For SCRA ,candidates age must be between 17 to 21 years.
Education - Only those candidates who passed 12th with PCM subjects.
Candidates must be Indian citizen.
UPSC conduct this exam every year .

SCRA Means Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year . This year notification was already released and last date for receipt of application was also already closed .

SCRA Exam Dates , 2013 ::

So you are too late , this year last date for receipt of application was already closed . So now can not apply for this examination . Next notification will be available in the month of October OR November in the official website of UPSC as well as employment news paper .

You can apply for SCRA exams if you have:-

He should have passed 12th from the recognized university with science.
The age limit for the SCRA exam is 17 to 21 years.
Female candidate are not eligible for the exam.
Only unmarried male candidate is eligible for this exam.

You can apply for SCRA exams if you have these criteria fulfilled.

Application Fee:

The applicant are required to pay Rs 100 either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India / State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore by using Visa / Master Credit / Debit card. All the SC / ST / Female / PH candidates are exempted to pay the fee.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates can be selected on the basis of performance in Written Exam followed by Interview / Personality Test and Document Verification.

The eligible candidates can apply through Online Mode from the website www.upsconline.nic.in between 13 October 2012 and 12 November 2012. After submitting the Online Application, the candidates must take the print out of application form and keep it safe for further reference/use.

This year the last date to fill the application is the 12.11.12.


So this year you don�t fill the application form.


The qualification is required for the exam is the +2 passed.


Male and female both are eligible for the exam.
