every year the notification for the upsc scra examination is released in the month of OCTOBER and the examination is held in the month of January or starting week of February.

In 2012 UPSC SCRA exam is conducted on 29,January,2012. You can find the date only after the release of Notification for SCRA Exam 2013. You can check notification in employment newspaper, you can also check notification on UPSC official website http://www.upsc.gov.in/

The COMPLETE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for the SCRA exams are mentioned below ::

01. NATIONALITY.
You must be a Citizen of India.

02. AGE LIMITS.
You must be 17 To 21 years of age.Relaxations in age limit are allowed only according to Government norms.

03. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS.
You must have passed your 10+2,or be in the appearing year,from a recognized board or university with MATHEMATICS as a compulsory subject and PHYSICS or CHEMISTRY as another compulsory subject.

04. SEX.
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible.

O5. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS.
As long as you meet the eligibility criteria,there is on restriction on the number of attempts.

SCRA(special class railway apprentice examination) is conducted evevry year by upsc.

Details about 2013 SCRA examination.:

For every year SCRA examination notification is released in october .

for example it was on 22nd august in 2012 .

The last day of submitting application is after one month .

Finally examination is held in th month of January.

Eligibility criteria:

>>you must have done your 10+2 from a recognised board with physics,chemistry and mathematics.

>>% of marks should not be less than 60.

>>The minimum age required is 17 years .

>>Upper age limit is 21 years.

>>Nationality :Indian.
