Dear candidate

the upsc conduct all civil service exam, iss, ies, according to the prescribed dates of upsc. The test which are conducted by the upsc
are differ according to the posts.

So still there is no any provision regarding the combined exam for all the post.

The initial paper of all post may be same of the upsc but the further criteria is differ or vary according to the posts.

-The UPSC is not planning to uphold any Combined Exams as similar as the IBPS Exams.
-You must know that the posts for which the exams are conducted by the UPSC are vastly different from one another.They involve Defence,Administration,Revenue,Postal Services,Foreign Services,Police,Forest Services,Railways,etc.
-Therefore,it is not possible by the Commission to test the capability of the students for occupying these posts through one common exam.
-It requires a lot of tests,as according to the demand of the post,,so as to choose the best desired candidate.
-Therefore it is not possible for UPSC to conduct one combined exam.

IBPS exam is related to recruitment in banks whereas UPSC is related to recruitment of officers in various fields other than banks. IBPS conducts COMMON WRITTEN EXAM every year & those able to clear the cut-offs are provided with score cards. You can then apply for various banks openings asking for eligibility in IBPS. There will be an interview & then short-listing of candidates based on performance.
