the government companies conduct there own recruitment process according to their requirements for the posts.

The reason for separate recruitment is the requirement of the candidate because in company all the employ does not leave the company at once so the recruitment process is run according to the government companies.

-The Government Companies do not conduct a combined exam such as the IBPS.
-Due to the limitations in vacancies,it is not possible for them to conduct exams yearly or twice in an year.
-Also,its important to realise that all the posts that are on vacancy in Government Companies,such as the SAIL,require very different qualifications.
So,it is not possible to conduct a common exam as this would not give them the desired candidate.
-Therefore they conduct different exams,as per the candidates,and theire qualifications required.
