CDS exam is known as one of the defence service exam conducted by UPSC and is held every year and conducted as CDS I and CDS II.
To be eligible for the CDS Exam you need to satisfy the following:

For Indian Military Academy:
Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July,1986 and not later than 1st July,1992 only are eligible.
For Navel Academy :
Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1989 (2nd July, 1987 in case of Naval Wing �C� Certificate holders) and not later than 1st July, 1992 only are eligible.
For Air Force Academy:
Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 1992 only are eligible.

-Here I have mentioned below the complete details related to the CDS exams.
-The Combined Defence Service (CDS) exams are conducted bi-annually by the UPSC.
-The exams are conducted for the enrollment of candidates into the Indian Military Academy(IMA),Officers Training Academy(OTA),Naval Academy and Air Force.
-The exams are conducted in two phases,namely the Written Exams and The SSB Interviews.Only the candidates who clear the written exams proceed to the SSB
interview where they are tested all physically,medically and psychologically,to see whether they will be able to serve the nation at the highest level or not.
-The complete eligibility requirements of the UPSC CDS exams are mentioned below-
# NATIONALITY-
You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India,before 1962.

(1) For IMA Exams : 19 to 24 years.
