• The candidate should be finish the degree in any stream from recognized university and final year candidate also eligible for this examination and there is no minimum percentage of mark to require for This examination.
• The candidate should be citizen of india or a subject of Bhutan or a subject of Nepal.
• The candidate age should be 19 year and not more than 25 years.
• The candidate should be physically fit for this examination.

CDS exam is known as one of the defence service exam conducted by UPSC and is held every year and conducted as CDS I and CDS II.

To be eligible for the CDS Exam you need to satisfy the following:

> Nationality
> Martial Status
> Age Limit
> Education Qualification
> Physical Standard.


Candidate need to be a citizen of India

The candidate appearing for the exam must be a unmarried male candidate

For Indian Military Academy:

Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July,1986 and not later than 1st July,1992 only are eligible.

For Navel Academy :

Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1989 (2nd July, 1987 in case of Naval Wing �C� Certificate holders) and not later than 1st July, 1992 only are eligible.

For Air Force Academy:

Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 1992 only are eligible.

For Officer's Training Academy:

Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1992 only are eligible.

-The Combined Defence Service (CDS) exams are conducted bi-annually by the UPSC.
-The exams are conducted for the enrollment of candidates into the Indian Military Academy(IMA),Officers Training Academy(OTA),Naval Academy and Air Force.
-The exams are conducted in two phases,namely the Written Exams and The SSB Interviews.Only the candidates who clear the written exams proceed to the SSB
interview where they are tested all physically,medically and psychologically,to see whether they will be able to serve the nation at the highest level or not.

-The complete eligibility requirements of the UPSC CDS exams are mentioned below-

# NATIONALITY-
You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India,before 1962.

# AGE LIMIT-
(1) For IMA Exams : 19 to 24 years.
(2) For OTA Exams : 19 to 25 years.
