    Will I be able to give UPSC exam without completing B.E?

    upsc exam
    Till now i had not completed my b.e can i able to give upsc exams for the selection in ias or ips or collector

    NO sir u r not selected without the graduation degree.

    you are appear in the exam without degree means last year student or waiting the result.

    on the selection time if u have no degree then u r rejected the said post.

    UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. UPSC is an official body which will conduct variety of Entrance Exams every year.

    Here are some of the Entrance Exams being conducted by UPSC.
    -Combined Defence Services Exam
    -Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam
    -NDA Exam
    -IFS Exam
    -Civil Services Exam etc.

    The minimum academic qualification and the required age criteria to appear for these exams will be different from one exam to other exam.

    Yes. You are eligible to take some of the UPSC Exams after completion of your Graduation.

    In order to take many of the UPSC Exams, the candidates should not require any percentage of marks in Graduation course.

    Just a pass in Graduation course is enough for the candidates to be eligible for UPSC Exam.

    You can take CDS Exam to join
    -Indian Military Academy
    -Indian Naval Academy
    -Indian Air Force Academy etc.

    You can also appear for Civil Services Exam to be placed in various civil services like
    -Indian Administrative Service
    -Indian Police Service
    -Indian Foreign Service
    -Indian Revenue Service etc.

    Choose the Entrance Exam which you want to appear for and crack it.

    yes, you can apply only if you are in final year of B.E otherwise not, so ensure that & apply on time.

    Besides that I am attaching some other eligibility for your candidature , so also check them & do apply on time without wasting time for the preparation.

    you can appear for the examinations

    civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    whose eligibility criteria are :

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::

    You must be a citizen ofIndia,

    or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.


    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. HOWEVER,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs
    and
    5 years for the SC/STs.


    You must have completed your Graduation or Equivalent,from a recognized university under any
    stream,
    or be a final year student in the same
    .

    The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,
    7 for an OBC candidate,and
    unlimited for a SC/ST candidate,until he fulfills the age criteria

    no you cannot give any of the upsc exam before completing your b.e!
    but you can give if you are in the last semester or after completing it!

    Here is the details of upsc exam:

    Education qualification:The candidate must be pass in graduation from a recognized university

    Or Even Final year students can also apply for the exam

    Age : 21-30 And relaxation for ob 3 and sc/st 5 years

    And dear as you said you are doing right now Be

    Then dear you have only chances if you are in final year

    Other you cannot apply for upsc exam

    dear if you wish to appear in upsc exam then you have to become a graduated candidate,
    also your age also should be eligible for the examination.

    Eligibility criteria for exams conducted by upsc:

    1. Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
    2. candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
    3. age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
    4. age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
    5. age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.

    Hello dear,

    without completing your graduation there is only one possibility that you will give upsc exam when you are appearing your final year exam of your engg.

    eligibility criteria is,


    should be graduate from a recognized university in any stream
    (marks or percentage doesn't matter)

    age should be 21 to 30 years
    age relaxation for OBC candidate 3 years
    age relaxation for SC/ST candidate 5 years

    nationality- Indian

    number of attempts-

    general candidate- 4
    OBC- 7
    SC/ST- no limit

    You will not be eligible to appear for upsc exam as the minimum qualification to appear upsc exam is graduation in any field.

    Because gradution is must to give the UPSc exam
    You must try after completing the gradution

    UPSC Conducted Many Exams :

    1. IAS
    2. IPS
    3. IRS
    4. IES

    All Have Civil Services Of India But For The IES (Indian Engineering Service) Required The BE/B.Tech From The Recognized University But Other Want Only Graduation As The Educational Qualification.

    1. Graduate in Any Discipline From Recognized University.
    2. Age Limit :
    General : 21 to 30 Years
    OBC : 21 to 33 Years
    SC/ST : 21 to 35 Years

    Must be a Graduate to apply any exam conducted by UPSC.
    You mentioned that you have not completed B.E.
    The other option is you may Complete Graduation degree in Distance mode also.

    Yes,there are two UPSC examinations that you can give without completing bachelor of engineering.The two examinations are as follows:

    1.National defence academy

    2.Special class railway apprentice examinations.

    However bachelor's degree is the minimum educational requirement for the most of the UPSC exams like :

    1.Civil services examinations

    2.Indian Engineering services

    3.Indian revenue services

    4.Combined defence services

    5.Central police force examinations

    6.Combined medical services

    7.Indian forest services

    and lots more

    AFter completing your bachelor's degree ,you will, be eligible to give these examinations

    No, Sir without completion graduation you couldn't able to give UPSC exam so that firstly you have to completed your graduation from any stream after that you can apply for UPSC exam

    Sorry you cannot .To be eligible for the upsc exam you need to have passed your graduation and then only you can apply for the exam else not...

    The age limit is: 21-30 yrs..

    No way.. You must complete your BE then you are eligible for the UPSC examination because UPSC want candidates at least graduation from any discipline.

    Find the General Eligibility Criteria for UPSC examination:

    - Candidate must be graduate or appearing final year of graduation from any recognized university
    - Age Limit: 21 years to 30 years (age relaxation for the reserve category candidates)
    - Nationality: Indian
    - Maximum attempts for general category candidates have 4, obc having 7 and SC/ST candidates having no limitation of attempts.

    I am really sorry to tell you that you can not appear for the UPSC exam without completing the graduation.

    Because the minimum qualification for the UPSC exam is that you must have to complete your graduation from a recognized university or college of India and your age must lies in between 21-30 years.

    The criteria for appearing in Civil Services Exam is :
    1. Nationality : Indian
    2. Academic qualification : Graduate in any stream from any recognized university.
    3. Age limits : 21-30 (OPEN), 21-33 (OBC), 21-35(sc/st).
    4. Attempts : OPEN-4 , OBC-7 ,SC/ST-9 .

    However, you can appear for the upsc exam BUT.......... if you clear mains, then, during interview; you will have to have completed graduation.

    I think you are still in the B.E

    Still not completed

    So I am really Regret to say this you are not eligible to apply for it

    And you must have A MINIMUM OF GRADUATION

    And the Final year Candidates can also apply for the exam

    You must have a minimum of 21 years

    You must be an INDIAN citizen

    At first .. complete your Degree

    No you cannot apply for the UPSC civil services before your graduation.
    You can apply for it either in the final year of your graduation or after you complete your graduation..
