    Am I eligible for IAS exams after completing B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering from Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Deemed University in Distance mode?

    hi,
    I am B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering from Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Deemed University with Distant education? Am i eligible for IAS exams? What are the compulsory and Optional subjects for Prelims in Indian Civil Services examination? on what basis shall i choose the subjects? Is it necessary to join coaching for the preparation of Indian Civil Services exams. if yes then then can you please recommend the coaching which conducts vacation classes in Mumbai ?

    as you are a graduate from B.tech from AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING......you are eligible for CIVIL SERVICES EXAMS
    but
    there are some subjects for you as optional...

    FOR COMPULSORY SUBJECTS YOU HAVE THESE SUBJECTS

    INDIAN LANGUAGE
    GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
    REASONING


    GIVEN BELOW IS THE LIST OF SUBJECTS WHICH ARE OPTIONAL......

    Yes, you are eligible for IAS exam after completing your B.Tech.

    There are minimum educational Graduate from any recognized university

    Age should be between 21-30 years
    For OBC 21-33 years
    For SC/ST 21-35 years

    List of Optional Subjects:

    Agriculture
    Animal Husbandry & Vetinary Science
    Botany
    Chemistry
    Civil Engineering
    Commerce
    Economics
    Electrical Engineering
    Geography
    Geology
    Indian History
    Law
    Mathematics
    Mechanical Engineering
    Medical Science
    Philosophy
    Physics
    Political Science
    Psychology
    Public-Administration
    Sociology
    Statistics
    Zoology

    Compulsory Subjects

    General Studies (Two Papers of 300 marks each)
    Essay (One Paper of 200 marks)
    English (Qualifying (One Paper of 300 marks))

    You can preparation at home or can join coaching center.

    For this you would spent 6-7 hours daily at study.

    You would be work hard for qualify this exam.


    Attempts

    For General 4 Attempts
    For OBC 7 Attempts
    For SC/ST No Limit

    you can apply for ias exam.
    the minimum qualification of ias exam is the person must be graduate.
    any graduate can appear for ias exam

    eligibilities for ias exam;-

    educational qualification-the person must be graduate
    nationality-indian

    age limits and number of attempts for ias exam;-
    general-21 to 30 years-4 attempts
    obc-21 to 33 years-7 attempts
    sc/st-21 to 35 years-un limited attempts
