The age limit is within 21-30years for the UPSC examination. You will attain the 21years from 5th May 2014. So you will appear the examination after the 5th may, 2014. The minimum qualification is to pass Bachelors degree at any recognized university in any discipline. Thanks...

The age criteria for IAS examinations are:
>>you must have completed your 21 years on the 1st january of the year in which you will be eligible for upsc examinations.
Since your date of birth is is 5th may,1993 ,so you will be eligible for upsc examinations in 2015.
Further age limitations are:
>>for general candidate: 21-30 years
>>for obc:21-33 years
>>for sc/st:21-35 years
>>for physically handicaped: 21-40 years.
IAS stands for Indian Administrative services.
>>it is conducted by union public service commission and also the examination is called civil services examinations

according to your age if you complete the 12th class then you are eligible for the nda and scra exam.
for nda the age limit is 16.5 to 19 yrs.
for scra exam the age limit is 17 to 21 years.
if you want to civil service then firstly complete your graduation in any stream.
the age limit for the exam 21 to 30yrs.

For the post of IAS you have to clear the UPSC CS(Civil Service) Exam. For CS exam you must reach the age of 21 years on 1 august of the year of exam. so according to your date of birth you should reach the age of 21 years in 2014. so you can apply for CS exam in 2014. Till then start preparation for Civil Services exam.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. You must complete or appearing in final year of graduation in any field with any percentage.
2. Age Limit:
For General: 21 years to 30 years.

according to your age you complete the 19 yrs. so you are not eligible for the nda exam.
now you are eligible for the SCRA exam which is required the age 17 to 21 years.
the qualification is required for the scra exam is secondary class passed.
when you are complete the 21 years then you are eligible for the following exam:-
civil service exam
combined defence service
indian engineering service etc number of the exam which is based on the graduation.
so you complete the graduation in any stream from the recognized university.
the age limit is 21 to 30 years.
