Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.
If your university is recognized by UGC then absolutely you are eligible for Civil Services Examination.
The Educational Qualification required for Civil Services Examination is as follows:
The candidate musthold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
Final year degree students are also eligible.
Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university.

yes my friend you are eligible for giving the IAS exam even after being a private candidate from the kurukshetra university.
The reason is that for giving the IAs exam, you need to be a graduate in any stream from a recognized indian university and your university is a well recognized one.
Moreover, for giving the exam, your age should also be in between 21-30 years.
Eligibility Criteria for IAS Exam is as below:
1.Age limit- 21 years minimum and 30 years maximum, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs .
2. Graduation form any govt. recognised university in India.

Yes friend, candidates who have completed their bachelor degree through Correspondence or Private mode are also considered eligible for the IAS Examination. Only the thing required that the degree which you are possessing must be obtained from such a University which must be well recognised & affiliated by UGC. Otherwise the degree is considered valid for any government job.
