yes, you are surely eligible to apply for IES exam after completing B.E in Computer Science and Engineering. because according to UPSC for IES(Indian Engineering Services) you must have engineering degree in any Branch from recognized college or university. As you need only Engineering in any Branch, so you can apply for the exam.

but there is a problem. In IES exam there is no Subjects Related to Computer Science and Engineering. and So you are required to give the papers by choosing any one of the following four streams.

1. Civil Engineering
2. Electrical Engineering
3. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
4. Mechanical Engineering

for IES your age must be within 21 years to 30 years . there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for
SC/ST candidates.

For IES there is no limit of number of attempts. you can apply any number of times within age limit.

Electronics and Communication Engineering
Electrical Engineering

Age limit for IES is 21 to 30 years for general category
21 to 33 years for OBC
21 to 35 years for Sc/ST.

Written Exam-objective type-200 marks each-two papers
Conventional type-of each branch

Interview-Personality test.

As you have completed your engineering degree so you are eligible for appearing in Engineering Service Examination but keep in mind that you will be answering question paper in only four fileds of engineering.They are Civil Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication ENgineering.

As you have completed your engineering in Computer Science so it will be little difficult for appearing in the examiantion.As you have to work hard and cover the entire engineering syllabus which will be not so easy.So I would like to suggest you better increase your strengths in Computer science instead of apperaing for civil service examination you try your efforts for getting jobs in best software companies.

If you want to do Engineering Service then you should join reputed coaching isntitute and better select Electronics & Telecommunication as your opional as some of the papers of this field of engineering you have studied during your engineering.

Yes you are eligible because only engineering is required for IES... But the subjects available are only four...

dear candidate very sorry to inform you that Computer Science is not one of four subjects required for IES.

The four subjects in which graduation is required for appearing in IES are:-

1.Electrical Engineering

2.Mechanical Engineering

3.Civil Engineering

4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Unless you want to appear in IES with any of above four branches you cannot appear for IES.

Every engineering graduates are eligible for that exam , you also can apply in last year of engineering graduation .

You can select any one engineering subject for IES exam -

Electronic and Telecommunication
Civil
Mechanical
Electrical

Your age must be under 21-30 years, 3 years of age relaxation for BC candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

You should be citizen of India.
