PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION:-
Preliminary exam is divided in to 2 papers.
Each paper duration is 120 minutes.
MAIN EXAM:-
Main exam is divided in to 9 papers.
Each paper duration is 180 minutes.
INTERVIEW:-
Final Phase is Interview phase.
Candidates who have qualified in both the two above phases can apply for Interview.

Civil service Exam is conduced by Union public Service commission and this examination is conducted by every year and this examination is conducted by there stages there are.

>>Preliminary Exam:- This Exam have a two paper and each paper have 200 marks and 2 hours duration.The Question type will be Objective type.and there is no optional Subject for the Preliminary Exam.
>>Written Main Exam:-If you select the Preliminary Exam then you will be write on the Mani Exam in the Main exam have 2000 marks and 21 days to conducted this exam.and it have a optional subjects so single candidate to choose the Two compulsory optional subjects.

As per the above list there are no CSE related subject so that you have to choose other subject .
From my opinion Maths is a good subject and you learnt the maths in your engineering also so that it will be good for you .
Other subject you will choose based on your interest may be you select Electrical Engineering because you already know some basic things related to Electrical Engineering so that it will not difficult for you .
So as per my opinion Maths & Electrical engineering is a good optional subject for you .
