Now i am doing B.COM (CA) final year. I want to write the IPS exam. Now My age is 20 years. I dont know my age is qualified or not qualified the IPS exam.

Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.
Friend you have to wait for 1 year since you are under age. A candidate should be 21 years of age to appear for the Civil Services Exam.

The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:

Educational Qualification
The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
Final year degree students are also eligible
Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university

Age limit
General 21-30 yrs
SC/ST 21-35 yrs
OBC 21-33 yrs
PH 21-40 yrs

To eligible for the exam one can posses a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

Age Criteria:- The candidate must have attained the age 21 year on 1st August & must not have attained 30 year of age on that date.

The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 year for OBC & 5 year for SC?ST candidates.

The upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of Defense services personnel.

So,according to the age you are not eligible for IPS exam.You can apply for the exam at the age of 21 years.

You are underage according to the age required to appear for the IPS exam as minimum age is 21 yrs.

So you will have to wait 1 yr and then only you can sit for the exam.
