sorry friend you cannot apply for the NDA exam because you have crossed the age qualification of NDA exam.

To apply for the NDA exam your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

so friend don't worry you can apply for the CDS exam after copletion of your graduation.

so first of all you should seek admission in graduation.

According to your date of birth ,you will be about 18.5 years in the december of 2012,so as per age limitations of UPSC for NDA exam ,you will be eligible for the NDA I examinations that will be held in april of 2013.


After that you would not be eligible for the NDA examinations as you will cross the minimum age limit of 19 years.

Besides age limitations ,you need to have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with the mathematics and english as compulsory subjetcs.

ONLY those candidates can apply for NDA EXAMS whose passed 12th class from the recognized board & age should be 16.5 to 19 years.


AND YOU have crossed age limit so I am really sorry dear.


IF MY OPINION THEN YOU CAN APPLY FOR SCRA EXAM.

its also conducted by UPSC .

you should have to passed 12th class & age should be 17 to 21 years.

Well any person whose age is under

19 years when the forms are issued can apply for the NDA Exam

as calculate your age when next year the forms issue

and if you found it under 19 than yes you can apply for

the exam without any problem and the exam is conducted

by the upsc department every year

first their will be written exam and after written

exam their will be ssb of 5 days and you have to clear

both the stages if you want to join NDA

because for NDA EXAM age should be 16.5 to 19 years.

but you have crossed age limit.


but you can apply for CDS EXAMS agfter complete your graduation from the recognized university.

As per your mentioned current age you are going in the age of 19 years but have not completed your 19 years of age and you will complete about 18.5 years of age as on december 2012 so that you have only one chance to apply for NDA Phase I exam means you can appear only for your last NDA exam which would be conducted in the month of April 2013 and after this you would not be eligible for next NDA exam so you should prepare hard for this exam and try to qualify at once.

You can apply for this exam between these following dates :

22/12-2012 to 21/01/2013

Examination Dates : - 7th April 2013 - Sunday

Syllabus for the NDA exam :

Paper I would be separately conducted for the mathematics subject - 300 marks

Paper II has two parts which is - General Ability Test

However you should wait official release of notification which make clear whether you are eligible or not. The notification is going to release on the 22th december 2012. You must have to be completed intermediate from an recognised board.

You surely have a very bright future!

See according to the eligibility criteria for NDA exam-

1)12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent
with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or
a university and also Students who are appearing in the 12th class
under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can
also apply for this examination.

2)Students who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried
males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years
on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the
exam.


As far as the age is concerned,you'll be more than 18 years old as on 1/1/2013, hence you can give the 1st exam.
But you cannot appear for the 2nd exam since then you'll be 19 years old then.
Make sure that you are in 12th class or have passed it in order to complete the criteria!

Sorry friend but you are not eligible for NDA & NA Exam 2013 since according to UPSC the candidates who are born after 2nd January 1995 and not later than 1st july 1997 are only eligible.
If you are so eager to join Defence then don't be upset you can apply for CDS Exam after graduation.

CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA).

The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
Nationality:
The candidate must be Indian.

Age Limit: Candidates (Unmarried) of age between
(i) For IMA: 19-24 years.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
(iv) For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25 years.
(v) For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.

Educational Qualification:
(i) For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.

You are not eligible for the NDA exam 2013 .Because your age limit is not in the range as specified in the Notification. So you can not eligible to appear for the NDA exam.

16.5-19 years (Not earlier than January 2, 1995 and not later than July 1 1997.


But do not worry about it you have lot of the opportunity after the graduation also. If you have the Aim to join the Indian defence field then you can also join it after the graduation also. In order to join the defence field after the graduation you have o clear the Combined Defenec exam. This exam is usually conducts in the Moth of the April and September .

This Exam is conducted by the UPSC. There This exam is also called it as UPSC exam .First you have to complete the graduation from the recognized college then you are eligible for the exam.

If you clear this exam then you have the lot of the opportunity in the Indian defence field You can join.
