UPSC every year plans the Civil exam for the IAS posts.
In this year UPSC will release the notification on 2/2/2013 and last date of application form is 4/3/2013.
Exam will be held on 19/5/2013.

To become an IAS, you have to crack civil service exam which is conducted once in a year by UPSC. In February 2013 notification for this exam will be released by UPSC. Some basic requirements for this exam are as follows: You should be graduate from any recognized university. Age should be lies between 21 to 30 years for general category, 21 to 33 years for OBC, and 21 to35 for SC/ST candidates. The number of chances to sit in this exam are 4 for general, 7 for OBC and no limit for SC/ST.
