Am I eligible to sit for UPSC exam after completing B.Tech (Computer Science Engineering) from Amity University, Haryana?

I am from Amity University Haryana doing B.Tech in Comp Sc. Kindly tell me whether or not am I eligible to sit in the UPSC examination considering the University has to fulfill some criteria too?

Dear as you are pursuing degree in Engineering from a reputed university so you will be eligible for various UPSC exams after completing your degree or while pursuing final year of your graduation and mainly you can appear for following examinations

UPSC Indian Engineering Service Examination - Degree in Engineering from a reputed institute or university and age should be between 21-30 years

UPSC Indian Civil Service Examination - Degree in any discipline from a recognized university and age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years

UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination - Should posses a bachelor's degree in any one of the - Agriculture/ Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Engineering/ Forestry/ Geology/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Zoology from a recognized university and candidate should not have attained the age of 30 years

UPSC Combined Defense Service Examination - Your engineering degree is enough to be eligible for all IMA - Indian Military Academy, INA - Indian Naval Academy, AFA - Air Force Academy and OTA - Officers Training Academy but age should not be according to the requirement which is 19-24 years for IMA, 19-22 years for INA, 19-23 years for AFA and 19-25 years for OTA

UPSC Central Police Force Assistant Commandant Examination - Any degree from a reputed institute and age should be minimum 20 years and maximum limit 25 years and upper age relaxation follows same for all exams except CDS - Combined Defense Services

5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

B.Tech is a graduation degree course and after that you can apply for civil services exam and also for Indian Engineering Services Exam.

For that exam you should be graduate from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

Age Limit :- 21-30 years.

Nationality :- Indian

yes you are eligible for giving the upsc civil services exam because for giving the exam you need to be a graduate from a recognized indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years.
For obc category the age limit is 21-33 years.
And for the sc/st category the age limit is 21-35 years.

You are absolutely eligible to sit for UPSC examinations after completing B.Tech in Computer Science. Most UPSC examinations such as Civil Services Exams, CDS Exams, IES exams have been conducted on Graduation Level.

The required educational qualification for Civil Service Examination are:

* Candidate must completed Graduation or pursuing Graduation in final year from a recognized college/university in any stream.

* Must achieved at least 45% marks in Graduation.

The required educational qualification for CDS examination :

Graduation in any stream if wish to join Indian Military Academy or Graduation with Physics , Mathematics as compulsory subjects if wish to join Indian Air Force Academy / Naval Academy.

The required educational qualification for IES examination :

* B.E. / B.Tech from any recognized college / university.

UPSC is centralized body which conduct various exams for various fields. you can apply for various UPSC exams after completing B.Tech from Amity University. you can also apply while studying in final year of your B.Tech.
here is the list of exams you can apply after B.Tech:
>>Civil Services
>>IES
>>CDS
>>IFS
>>CPF

for Civil Services, IES, IFS your age should be within 21 years to 30 years.
for CPF your age should be within 20 years to 25 years.
Age Limit for CDS:
for INA: 19 to 22 years
for IAF: 19 to 23 years
for IMA: 19 to 24 years
for OTA: 19 to 25 years

in all the above exams except CDS exam there is relaxation in upper age upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/St candidates.
