    Can Result awaited students of 3rd year, Delhi university apply for an IAS exam? Eligibility criteria to apply for IAS exam?

    m in 2nd year in delhi university....preparing for ias.....want to know that can i apply in my 3rd year???????????

    U can go online on www.upsc.gov.in for various UPSC posts...The only criteria is graduation with 55% marks and age of 21 and above.

    Academic Qualification :
    -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.
    -Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation are also eligible to appear for this exam but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview.

    Dear Guest,

    * As per rules of UPSC for IAS a candidate must be graduate.

    * Also a candidate who has given third year graduation exam and awaited for results can also apply for IAS exam.

    * Friend you cleared your 2 nd year and are in third year now.

    * Sorry ! You can't apply for IAS exam this year, so wait for an year and prepare yourself for next year exam.

    Hello,
    Of-Course you can apply when you will appear in your final exam of your university then you can also apply for UPSC exams.

    you should apply online at www.upsc.gov.in

    The Age limit for this exam is
    21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. if you appear in 2012 IES exam then you must have been born not earlier than 02 August 1982 and not later than 1 August of 1991.

    You can apply for this Exam four times.

    ias 2012 notification has been missed by you.so you can apply next year in the appearing category. eligibility criteria for ias is graduation.good luck

    ELIGIBILITY FOR IAS EXAM:-

    -- You must be a graduate from a recognized university.
    -- In final year of your graduation also you can apply for the exam.


    -- Only passing mark is required to attain the exam.
    -- You must be Indian citizen to apply for the exam.
    -- Your age limit is 21-30 years. Upper age limit relaxation is available for SC/ST, OBC candidates.
    -- For OBC - 3 years of relaxation , age limit 21-33 years.
    -- For SC/ST - 5 years of relaxation, age limit 21-35 years.

    -- Number of attempts for IAS exam for open category= 4, SC/ST= unlimited, OBC= 7

    YES.
    You are eligible to apply for the UPSC CIVIL SERVICES EXAMS this year.
    ALL STUDENTS WHO HAVE PASSED THEIR GRADUATION OR EQUIVALENT,OR ARE A FINAL YEAR STUDENT IN THE SAME,ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THESE EXAMINATION.
    JUST MAKE SURE YOU FALL WITHIN THE AGE LIMIT OF 21-30 YEARS.

    yes in your third year you can apply. But before appearing for interview, you should provide proof of passing your third year exam

    Dear friend,

    yes you are eligible to apply if you satisfy the following conditions:

    1)you should have done your bachelor's degree from a recognized university.so in your case it is delhi university.so you are satisfying this condition

    2)AGE :
    A candidate must have attained 21 years and mustnot have attained the age of 30 years as on 1 august in the year of examination.

    check you are age eligibility.

    3)you should be able to produce your certificates at the time of interview.

    If your 3rd year is final year of your graduation then you can apply for IAS exam.

    - Final year student of Bachelor degree can apply for IAS exam.

    - Well you should have your pass certificate on the day of interview in your hands.

    - Age limits: between 21 and 30 years.

    - For OBC: 21-33 years.

    - For ST/SC: 21-35 years.

    Yes, dear if you are in final year then you are eligible for Civil Services Exam.

    Candidate should either Graduate pass or in final year can apply for this examination.

    There is no percentage required for this examination .

    Age should be minimum 21 years and maximum
    For General 30 years
    For OBC 33 years
    For SC/ST 35 years

    No of Attempts

    For General 4
    For OBC 7
    For Sc/ST No Limits

    you will show the final year mark sheet at the time of interview.

    Hello Dear,

    If your degree is 3year course then you can apply for CSAT but if your degree is 4 year duration like as B.E. then you are not eligible for this exam.

    eligibility Criteria for IAS exam is

    candidate must be graduated from recognized university
    ****candidate who are appearing final year of your qualifying exam are also eligible for this exam.

    Age Limit is for general candidate 21 to 30 year, age relaxation for SC/ST 5 year and for OBC 3 year.

    general candidate can attempt only 4 times and OBC candidate can give this exam 7 times and SC/ST candidate can give this exam till the above age limit

    You can apply for the exam in the final year of your graduation or after completing it and the other criteria is:

    Age limit 21-30 yrs..
