there is no any exam for clerical job conducting by UPSC.

upsc only conducts the exam for officers for the following sectors.

1. engineering.
2. medical.
3. defence.
4. forest department.
5. revenue department .
6. administration.

-UPSC conducts various exams for the recruitments in the centre and state level.

-Exams conducted by UPSC at the officers level are quite popular.

-It also conducts few Clerical jobs Exam like
Section officers/Stenographers(Grade- B/Grade- 1)Limited Departmental Competitive Exam.

most of the exam conduct by the upsc for the higher position like as:-

IAS/IPS/IES/ETO etc which is under the civil service exam.

in the cds exam you got the higher postion in following area:-

indian maltery acedemy
Indiana air force
indian navy
officer training academy

with the help of the scra exam you enter in the railway department in the technical line

some of the exam is held by the upsc like as the stenograph grade-ii which is psot like as the clerical post.

if you want to decide to go the clerical job then you go through the staff selection commission

UPSC does not conduct any exam for clerical post. UPSC only conducts exam for top most posts/ gazetted posts in various departments. THey also conduct exams for entry into Indian military through combined defense services exam or National defense services exam.

You can apply for combined higher secondary level exam conducted by staff selection commission for various posts at clerical level(Data entry operator / lower division clerk) in different govt. departments. Educational qualification for this exam is a pass in 12th standard by recognised board. The scheme of exam is
1) written - Maths, aptitude, general awareness, ENglish
2) skill test (type writing) for data entry operator
3) Interview

Sorry to say that UPSC does not conduct any exam for the post of Clerical post if you want to get the post of Clerk then you have to appear for the exam conducted by IBPS.
