    Yes definitely BCA graduates are eligible for CDS Exam.
    CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA).

    The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
    Nationality:
    The candidate must be Indian.

    Age Limit: Candidates (Unmarried) of age between
    (i) For IMA: 19-24 years.
    (ii) For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
    (iii) For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
    (iv) For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25 years.
    (v) For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.

    Educational Qualification:
    (i) For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
    (ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.
    (iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
    Final year students can also apply.

    dear aspirant,


    being a graduate in BCA you can only apply for CDS exam under IMA(Indian Military Academy) or OTA(Officer Training Academy) and you can't apply for the CDS under IAF(Indian Air Force) or INA(Indian Naval Academy). because for both IAF and INA you need Mathematics and Physics Subjects in graduation or you have completed Engineering degree.

    Eligibility Criteria for CDS:

    Educational qualification:

    For IAF and INA: B.Sc with Math and Physics or Engineering

    degree

    For IMA and OTA: graduation in any discipline

    Age Limit:

    for INA: 19 years to 22 years
    for IAF: 19 years to 23 years
    for IMA: 19 years to 24 years
    for OTA: 19 years to 25 years

    Important dates of CDS exam in 2013:


    CDS-II:
    date of Notification:25-05-2013
    last date of receipt of application:24-06-2013
    date of exam:08-09-2013

    Dear Friend


    CDS stands for the Combined defense Services examinations.It is conducted twice every year by the UPSC for the different academies of defence that are :

    1.Indian Military Academy

    2.Indian Naval academy

    3.Officer's training academy.

    4.Indian Airforce Academy


    Being a BCA ( bachelor of computer application) graduate ,you will getcchance only for the IMA and OTA as the minimum requirement for the INA is bachelor's degree in engineering.

    So you can apply for the CDS examinations.

    The age limit for the different academies:

    IMA:19-24 years

    INA;19-22 years

    OTA:19-25 years.

    >>You must be an Indian citizen.

    Eligibility Criteria to apply for UPSC CDS - Combined Defense Service Exam 2013

    Indian Army - Candidate must have passed his/her bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and if pursuing final year of the degree then also eligible to apply for this exam

    Age should not be less than 19 years and more than 24 years for Indian Army sector

    Indian Navy - Candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject and any one of the biology/chemistry/computer science from a recognized university

    Age should not be less than 19 years and more than 22 years for Indian Navy Sector

    Indian Air force - Candidate must have a bachelor's degree with physics and mathematics as a compulsory subject and any one of the biology/chemistry/computer science from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply

    Age should not be less than 19 years and more than 23 years for Indian Air Force Sector

    Examination Patter for UPSC CDS Examination - There would be following papers conducted in objective type pattern for Indian Military, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force sector

    Paper I - English Language - 100 marks

    Paper II - General Knowledge - 100 marks

    Paper III - Elementary Mathematics - 100 marks

    you will get 2 hours for your paper and total marks for this exam are - 300

    If you get qualified in this written examination then you would be called for personality test and interview process and if you qualify this test then you would become an officer under the CDS

    Yes, you are eligible for CDS (Combined Civil Service ) Exam for IMA and OTA

    Eligibility for CDS is

    Age limits:

    For IMA (Indian Military Academy) : 19-24 years
    For Naval Academy : 19-22 years
    For Air Force Academy : 19-23 years
    For OTA(Officer Training Academy) : 19-24 years

    Educational Qualification:

    For IMA and OTA:
    Must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university

    For Naval Academy: Must be Graduate in Engineering any stream from any recognized university

    Yes BCA graduate can apply for UPSC CDS exams.

    CDS(Combined defense service) is conducted by union public service commission for twice per year.
    (cds-1 and cds-2).cds have four academy:-

    Indian Military academy
    Officers Training academy
    Naval academy
    Air force academy

    Eligibility Criteria For CDS examination:-

    The candidate should be citizen of India
    The candidate age should between 19 to 25 yrs.
    The candidate should be complete the degree with recognized university.
    The candidate should be medically fit.

    You should have these criteria fulfilled to apply for the CDS exam.

    See for CDS exam,a candidate must have fulfill the following criteria-

    Eligibility Criteria for Indian Military Academy and Officer's Training Academy: The Student should be a graduate from a recognized university or its equivalent can apply for this exam.

    So if you have done BCA from a recognized university,then you can give the exam for sure!

    C.D.S --- COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES

    The minimum age is allowed from 21 years

    As you are a BCA graduate that graduation is enough

    And maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates

    And you must be an Indian Citizen

    You are undoubtedly Eligible to apply for the exam

    Friend, Being a Bachelor in Computer Application, you are fully eligible for CDS Examination.     The CDSE exam is conducted for entry in to the four academy.

    ~AFA-Air Force Academy-the qualification required is graduation from any stream but with physics and maths in 10+2.If you had physics and maths both in 10+2,then only you can go for the AFA.
    Age limit-19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of the course)

    ~NA-Naval Academy-the qualification required is B.SC(physics and maths) OR ELSE B.TECH.-you are not applicable for the NA.
    Age limit-19 to 22 years(at the time of commencement of the course).

    ~IMA-Indian Military Academy-the qualification required is graduation from any stream,you are applicable.
    Age limit-19 to 24 years(at the time of commencement of the course).

    ~OTA-officers Training Academy-the qualification required is graduation from any stream,you are applicable.
    Age limit-19 to 25 years(at the time of commencement of the course).

    You can attempt the CDS exam after complete the bca. Even when you appear in the final year then you are also eligible for the exam.
    Under CDS Exam four paper is held after complete the BCA you are eligible only two paper.
    Four department
    1. Indian military academy
    2. Officer training academy
    3. Air force
    4. Navy
    You are eligible only first two department.
    The eligibility criteria of the four departments is the :-
    Indian Military Academic age limit is: 19 to 24 Years
    For Officer Training Academy age limit: 19 to 25 years
    Indian air force age limit: 19 to 23 years
    Naval age limit: 19 to 22 years

    The qualification is required for the CDS exam is different-2 is like as
    For Indian military academy graduation in any stream
    For Officer training academy graduation in any stream.

    Dear aspirant,Yes you can apply for CDS examination it is conducted twice in a year by union public service commission of india, it recruits the people to fill the vacancies in various branches of defence services such as indian army,air force and indian navy.You can apply for indian navy if you have physics and maths in the graduation or engineering graduate can also apply for the same and your age should be between 19 to 22 years of age ,training is done through naval academy.You can apply for indian air force if your age is between 19-23 years of age and graduation in engineering and physics or maths for training you need to go air force academy.You must apply for indian army as graduation in any discipline can apply for the same.age requirement for the same is 19 to 24 years for indian millitary academy and19 to 25 years of age for officers training academy.You need to make yourself physically and mentally strong as the competetion is going to be very tough these days.You should be unmarried.No criminal records.For more details please visit www.upsc.gov.inThank you.
