    Am I eligible for UPSC exam after completing BCA?

    hello
    I have done BCA this year after that i want to give UPSC exams am i eligible for UPSC

    if the aspirants fulfill the eligibility criteria then yes they can appear for upsc exam

    for civil service exam=it consists of 2 parts

    1)preliminary exam

    2)main exam

    qualification=any bachelor degree without any backlog.

    age=21-30 years with relaxation age

    should be medically fine

    must be citizen of india if applying for IAS AND IPS,where as for ther services must be citizen of indian or subject of nepal or subject of bhutan.

    **aspirants who had cleared the civil service preliminary exam are allowed to give civil service main exam

    **you can also try for other entrance exam like CDS,IFS, etc..

    Hello,
    You are eligible for UPSC exams as they require that
    The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956. The candidates with a degree from any of the recognized universities can apply for the UPSC Exams.

    Most of the UPSC exams have a age limit so you have to be eligible in that category.
    For example
    For CDS you should not be aged more than 24 years.
    For IAS age limit is minimum 21 and maximum 30 years
    The general age limit for an exam is 21-29 years.

    List of Some UPSC exams:
    • Central Police Forces Examination (CPF)
    • Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS)
    • Combined Engineering Services Examination (CESE)
    • Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS)
    • Geologist's Examination
    • Indian Administrative Services Examination (IAS)
    • Indian Civil Service (ICS)
    • Indian Economics Services/Indian Statistical Services Exam (IES/ISS)
    • Indian Forest Services Examination (IFS)
    • National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA)
    • SO/Steno (Gd B/Gd-I) Ltd Dept t Competitive Examination
    • Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam

    Yes, Bachelor of Computer application (BCA) is also one of the stream in Graduation,so you are eligible to apply for UPSC exams.

    Age limits are minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years(upper age relaxation applicable for reserved catogories).
    Below 21 years of age not eligible.
    so, once caliculate your age.

    Notification for Civil services may be released by the commission in the month of February every year.....

    Dear,

    you are eligible for the civil service exam if you complete the degree from the approved university and complete the age 21 years and your age is no more than the 30 years.
    then you are eligible for the exam.
    upsc requirement the candidate must have graduate in any stream from the approved university.
    the age limit is the 21 to 30 years for unreserved category with 4 chance to attempt the exam

    Yes you are a graduate and thus applicable for UPSC exams .

    You can sit in the exams and crack it .. but you have to take efforts in order to do that ...

    you may not have the subjects same in your BCA which are there in UPSC...

    So please do hard work and get on top with flying colours ..

    • Considering your qualification of bachelor degree in B.ca you are eligible for various exams of UPSC.
    • UPSC refers to union public service commission which organises various kind of exams for different post of central government.
    • Apart from education qualification, you also need to fulfill certain other eligiblity criteria.
    • You must be the citizen of india/nepal/bhutan.
    • You must be physically and mentally very fit.
    • There is also a age limit which is different for different kind of examination.
    • Like for IAS, IFS, IPS - your age must be below 30 years and for CDS, your age must be below 24 years.

    Limitation of exams after graduation-

    Candidate must be in 21-30 for genral

    You completed your graduation(BCA).So, you are eligible for writing the UPSC exam. For UPSC exam the main qualification is graduation from a recognized university.You can apply it..

    Eligibility criteria for UPSC exam:

    1)Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
    2)candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.

    4)age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .

    friend UPSC is not exam. It is the government body which conducts various competitive exam.

    I think you are talking about the civil service exam.

    Yes friend you can apply for the civil service exam after completing BCA.

    hey friend,
    You have bca graduated .
    And it is computer related branch.
    Then you cann't if you are accpecting your branch subject in subjective exam.
    YOu have to choose one other subject for UPSC exam then you can.
    First subject you can choose math and that is your branch subject.
    But otherone you have to choose other .
    do like that then you can fight the upsc exam .
