Sorry dear ,with 12th qualification and at the age of 28 years ,you are not eligible for any one of the UPSC exams like :

>>Civil services examination

>>NDA/NA (age limit crossed)

>>SCRA

>>IES.

>>CDS

>>CAPF

>>IFS etc.


Generally the age criteria is 21-30 years but qualification is graduation.

For 12th qualification,your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years for NDA and 17 to 21 years for SCRA.


Donot worry,you can try for Bank clerk examination with 12th qualification as you have two years remaining.

Sorry , you cannot appear in UPSC exam with 12 th qualification.
UPSC conducts the following examination for which Higher Secondary students are eligible
1) National defense academy exam/Naval academy exam
this conducted for entry into Indian military. but age limit is 16 and half to 19 years
2) Special class railway apprentice exam
age limit: 17- 21 years
since you have crossed the age limit for both. you cannot apply.for all other UPSC exams, a degree is the minimum educational qualification
But you may apply for combined higher secondary level exam conducted by staff selection commission for Lower division clerk job or data entry to operator
age limit: 18-27
age relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years; OBC 3 years;

Sorry friend you can not apply for any UPSCexam.

In actual you can apply for UPSC SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) exam but your age is over for this exam.

To apply for SCRA exam your age should be between 17 to 21 years.

So you can�t apply for the SCRA exam.

In the same waty with 12^th qualification you can apply for NDA exam of Defense service.

But your age is also over here.

For NDA exam age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

So you should try for other government and private sector jobs.



Here I will suggest you one thing that you should complete your graduation after graduation , you can get various opportunity of job in private sector as well as government sector.

Sorry to say that you can apply for UPSC Exams with 12th qualification at the age of 28 years.

According to UPSC Exams Eligibility Criteria if you have done 12th with Science subjects then you can apply for UPSC NDA and SCRA exams.

Age Limit :

1. For NDA: 16.5 years to 19 years

2. For SCRA: 17 to 21 years.

so now you are over aged for these exams. and you can't apply.


For Other UPSC exams like Civil Services and CPF exam you need to complete graduation with age limit within 21 years to 30 years.


so there is no chance for you in UPSC exams.

SORRY ! you cannot apply for UPSC exams with educational qualification 12th pass and age 28yrs.

You have not mentioned which UPSC exams,i suppose you want to know about Civil Services exams.
For UPSC Civil Services Exams minimum educational qualification is graduation in any discipline from
a recognised University and age between 21-30yrs in general category and relaxation of age by +3yrs
for OBC & by +5yrs for SC/ST candidates.

So,you fall short of elgibility as you are not a graduate.

UPSC conducts various exams at the Undergraduate level and Graduates level.

At the Undergraduates level i.e 12th pass it conducts :
NDA-Age limit is between 16.5-19yrs.No relaxation
SCRA-Age limit is between 17-21yrs and relaxation by +3yrs for OBC & by +5yrs for SC/ST candidates.

At the undergraduates level your age does not match the eligibility.

At the graduates level it conducts exams like Civil Services,Engineering services,
Combined Defence Services,Central Police Forces,Indian Forest Services,etc.
Minimum educational qualification is Graduation from a recognised University.

Since you qualification is not enough to meet the eligibility you will be unable to apply.

on 12th basis there are two exams under upsc.namely
national defense academy (NDA) examination and
special class railways apprentice examination.

apart form these examination there are graduation based examination namely

Indian Administrative Services Examination (IAS)
Indian Forest Services Examination (IFS)
Indian Police Services Examination(IPS)

to apply for the above written examinations you are required
to have graduation or engineering degree in any stream form recognized university .

for these examination
you can apply while pursuing the final years of your graduation.

As for the exam most of the you have crossed the age limit

Upsc conducting two exams at the 12th level

And you are not eligible for both of the exams

Upsc SCRA Exam:

The age required for the exam is 17-21

Upsc NDA Exam:

The age required for the exam is 16.5-19

As you can see that you have

Crossed your age so you can't write any of the exam

UPSC EXAM STANDS FOR UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISION .
upsc conducts many civil service exam.
but you are nor eligible for many exam after 12 th.
you can apply nda and scra exam
for applying other exam,
you must be graduate from a recognized university.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for any UPSC exam at present. but if you belongs to SC/ST or physically challenged person than there is a hope for UPSC exams but for the same you have to pass Graduation at first. So, take Graduation first and then apply for the same. Another way is to go for your state Public Service Commission after completion of your Graduation where age limit is upto 38 yrs, generaly. for General Category candidates....so, Good Luck....and work hard...

3. Center Reserve Force

All the above exam is required the graduation in any stream from the reorganization university.


Other side you have the 12^th passed certificate but your age is over.


Upsc some takes the exam which qualification is required +2.


Age limit is the b/w 16 to 21 years.


For NDA exam the qualification is required +2 passed with science subject


Age limit for the exam 16.5 years to 19 years. But you are not eligible for the exam.


For SCRA exam age limit is 17 to 21 years also you are not eligible for the exam

here clear your doubt that there is no any examination which is named as upsc examination ,

but civil services examination is generally called as upsc examination due to its importance and also because it is one of the biggest examination of upsc.


and the second thing is that you are not eligible for the same because you are not fulfilling the eligibility criteria(s).

according to the eligibility criteria only those candidates are eligible for the examination who complete their graduation or appeared in final year with a govt. recognized university.

and you are not according to the criteria so you are not eligible for the same .

ne ,you are not eligible for upsc exam,upsc basic requiredment qualification is the person must be graduate,age limit is 21 to 30 years
cds exam required qualification is 19 to 24 years so your age is crossed

Every year UPSC conducts various kind of examination for different post and different sector. In some of the exam you are over aged and in some you are underqualified. So you will not be eligible for any UPSC exam. With the qualification of class 12th, you can appear only in NDA and SCRA but for NDA age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years and for SCRA it's 17 years to 21 years. So it's visible that you are overaged for both the exam. But for other exams like CDS, civil services examination, IES needs the qualification of graduation.

upsc doesn't conduct any exam.....



for 12th passed there is only two exam but sorry to say you are
ineligible in the age criteria...

you should have to passed graduate age should be 21 to 30 years.

age relaxation for obc 3 years, for sc/st 5 years.
