As there is no any criteria of this type in the notification .

So i think you are eligible for the same .

yes , dear u can apply for ias and ies both because color blindness is not in criteria in upsc exam notification ,
its only for force like ips and other force exam , u r free to apply for both exam ias ,ies.

Yes you're of course eligible for the Civil Service Exam(CSE) and IES.

CSE has a misnomer as 'IAS exam'.

There's nothing mentioned about the color blindness, so you're Eligible.

FRIEND IN ANY OF THE NOTIFICATION,ITS NOT MENTION ABOUT THE COLOR BLINDNESS PROBLEM,SO YOU CAN TRY FOR IT.BETTER SUGGESTION IS YOU CONTACT TO THE CONCERNED AUTHORITY AND SEEK A HELP FROM THEM,THEY WILL GIVE YOU A RIGHT ANSWER..

ACCORDING TO ME,COLOR BLINDNESS MEANS,A PERSON CAN NOT DIFFERENTIATE AMONG THE COLORS RIGHT ..SO FOR IAS (INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE)AND IPS(INDIAN POLICE FORCE) AND IFS(INDIAN FOREST SERVICE),IT WOULD MATTER IF YOU OPT FOR THAT..

dear sorry but we did not got any notification regarding this so cannot say anything ,
but dear if your job is concerned with defence field then this is a major problem and you will be rejected due to this.

actually in any of the notification there is nothing written for the color blindness

you should contact the authorized for it they will help you and can give you right answer

but as per my knowledge is concerned i dont think that for IPS AND IAS it will create any problem

but yes if you choose defense sector it will be a major problem

so dont worry first talk to the authorized person then choose your goal
