Eligibility for UPSC Indian Engineering Service Examination 2014
Candidate should have passed bachelor's degree in engineering in any discipline from a reputed institute or university and if candidate is pursuing final year of degree then also he/she may apply for this examination
Candidates are abide of the rules of the board according to that they will have to choose anyone subject out of these four to get papers based on that subject and you are independent to choose anyone subject out of these four

Your age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines that is 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates and 10 years for PWD too with 5 years for government employees and ex-servicemen

Yes my dear friend you can apply for the upsc IEs examination being into the final year of your graduation.
For giving the exam you need to be a graduate in any of the following engineering streams
1. Mechanical engineering
2. Civil engineering
3. Electrical engineering
4. ECE
The age limit for giving this exam is 21-30 years and there is a relaxation of 3 and 5 years given to the obc and the sc/st category respectively.
