hello friends..!!currently i am at 7th sem.of computer engineering.i want to apply UPSC exam at 8th sem at february.but UPSC comittie ask for graduation compltition.but when we get the result of that exam at that time i will complete my 8th sem(mins my graduation).so can i give the exam at 8th sem of B.Tech. Please give me response.and will there any need of document..??

you can give your exam in the final year of graduation, the whole selection process lasts for the whole year at the time of interview you need to produce the degree certificate if not then give an undertaking to upsc that i will produce my certificate in few months. you just focuss on your preparation,

UPSC conduct Civil Services Exam for the post of IAS,IRS,IPS, IFS etc. For Civil Services you need graduation.
Yes, Sir definitely you can apply for UPSC Civil Services Exam while appearing in 8th Semester of your B.Tech. because final year graduation students can also apply for all the UPSC exams. So you need not to worry about that.

>>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.

>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.



Limit Number Of Attempts:

>>General category: 4 attempts

>>OBC category: 7 attempts

>>SC/ST category: No Limit
