Graduation degree as upsc is just asking a graduate

Pass degree from a recognized indian university

To appear in the upsc exam and does not matter that your degree is of b.tech or B.A

It matters that you must be pass in graduation from a recognized university

Also you should be filling the age criteria too:

Age limit for the obc is of 21-33

And for the ph 21-40 and for sc,st of 21-35

If you are filling these age requirements then you can go for the exam

yes you can apply for various UPSC exams being a Electronics and Instrumentation graduate. for UPSC exam you need only to complete your graduation from recognized college. you can also apply for UPSC exam while appearing in final year.
for UPSC your age must be within 21 years to 30 years and there is relaxation of upper limit of age for reserved category.

you are eligible for the exam. upsc required only the graduation in any stream for the civil service exam. candidate passed or the final year appear candidate. upsc demands the university is approved by the ugc/aicet.

you are also eligible for the cds exam. the qualification is required also graduation in different different steam for different post.

you are also eligible for the ies exam which is demands the b.tech candidate.

Being a electronics and instrumentations you can apply for each competitive exam of UPSC at graduate level.

At graduation level you can apply for CDS and Civil service exam.

CDS exam for Defense service and civil service exam for Indian administrative service.

In my point of view you should do preparation for civil service exam after graduation.


Required Qualification for civil exam

You should be graduate from any recognized university

No certain percentage of marks necessary.

You should be in age of 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation as per government norms

You must be Indian.

Preliminary exam(400 marks)

Mains exam(2300 marks)

UPSC will release the notification in first week of December .

Yes , B.Tech candidate are applicable for UPSC Exam.UPSC conduct so many exams but the eligibility criteria of all exams are same .I have listed the eligibility criteria for UPSC exam.UPSC related exams are IAS , IPS ,IES , NDA ,SCRA ETC.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university.

AGE CRITERIA:

For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 30 years
For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 33 years
