can i become an IAS Officer without a special knowledge in maths
I am not very well in maths.So,I am asking that if i don't choose maths in those two
subjects that i like,then i have to face maths also

Mathematics Knowledge is Little bit Important to face the IAS Entrance Examination..

So, If you having Little bit Knowledge in Mathematics subject then you become IAS Officer ..

So, try go coaching classes and Develop your Mathematics Knowledge skill ..

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service and this Entrance Examination is Conducted by Union Public Service Commission for every Once in a year .

Eligibility Criteria :

Academic Qualification :- Applicant should be Complete graduation course from recognized university ..

Yes you can become IAS officer without special knowlegde in Maths but what you need is basic knowledge in maths i.e till class 10th and for the optionals it is not needed that you take maths as optional subject.There are no. of other subjects for the option which don't need you to be speciailize in maths..

my dear, for IAS Exam , you must have knowledge level upto 10 to 12 std and some logical mathematical knowledge.but ln IAS exam there are no asked master level questions in maths. so IAS OFFICER must have basic concepts of maths.

yes you can apply for the civil services and become an IAS officer,
as there is not much knowledge of mathematics is required.
you only need to be a graduate in any discipline to apply for the
civil services examination.
Here is the eligibility criteria for the CIVIL SERVICES examination.
-graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
-no need of percentage is required .

AGE limit
-age should not be less than 21 years of age.
-and should not be more than 30 years for the general candidates.
-for sc/st age should be maximum 35 years to apply.
-for OBC maximum age should be 33 years of age.
-if your age not according to the criteria then you will be disqualified after some stages.

SELECTION PROCEDURE-
-written test.
-personal interview.

The UPSC Civil Services Exam(CSE) is conducted in 3 stages :
-Prelims/CSAT Exam
-Mains Exams
-Interviews
You need only BASIC knowledge of maths for clearing the CSE Exams.In the prelims exams and mains exams you need to face some
questions of Maths in the General Studies paper.CSAT consists of 2 Papers of general studies of multiple choice objective type questions.
It is mandatory to appear and clear both the Papers of General Studies in the CSAT Exams.In the Mains exams Paper IV & V are of General Studies.
The general studies paper will comprise of questions which a well educated person can solve easily without any specialised study.
Generally the standard & nature questions in the CSE are from X-XII level.There are questions on general mental ability
and Basic numeracy.The questions are such as to test the
general awareness of variety of subjects & not only maths.

So donot worry,with a bit of hard work esp. maths and proper preparations one can crack the CSE.
