Can I become an IPS without having Maths subject in 12th level?

can i become ips even i don't opt maths in 12th level?

why not, You can become IPS officer if you are graduate from a recognized university in any stream.

IPS exam stands for Indian police service which is conducted by UPSC.your age should be between 21-30 years. 3 years age relaxation is given to obc category. 5 years age relaxation for sc/st category.

You must be Indian citizen. You must be physically as well as mentally fit.

Yes, you can apply for IPS even you have mathematics at 12th level, but you will have clear your graduation in any stream, for other information you must go on UPSC website http://upsc.gov.in

Dear having mathematics in 12th class as a compulsory subject is not compulsory to be eligible for IPS examination because it has different eligibility in which each one can apply and that is following

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year pursuing or those who are awaited for final year result or those who are appearing for final year exams may also apply for IPS examination

Age should be between 21-30 years but if you are under reserved category then you will get relaxation in upper age which is according to the government standards which is 5 yeas for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen Category

General Category - 4 times

OBC category - 7 times

SC/ST - No limit but till 35 years of age

Dear you should not worry about the mathematics or any subject or about any class and prepare for this examination with your degree and when you complete your bachelor's degree then apply for this exam

YES, you can appear for the IPS exams even if you have not studied Maths in class 12th level.

For this you have to appear in the UPSC Civil services Exams.
Minimum educational qualifications required to appear in the exam is Graduation pass in any stream
So they do not ask for any subjects in Graduation

To apply your age should be between 21 and 30 years
As per government regulations you will get age relaxations of 3 years in case of OBC and 5 years in case of SC/ST

Here is the required eligibility criteria to appear for civil services exam.
Academic Qualification :
-You should have completed Graduation with any of the steam from a recognized university.
-Even the candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation are also eligible to give this exam but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview.
Age limit :
-A candidate of General category should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this exam.
