    no dear,

you can not apply for civil servies examination right now. because the minimum age required for upsc examination is graduation from any govt. recognized university.

but you will be eligible in next year because final year candidates are eligible to appear in the examination.

    see the eligibility criteria :-

    1. the candidate must be the citizen of India.
    2. the candidate must be graduate from an ugc recognized university.

and also you must fulfill the age criteria.

    for general21-30yrs.
    for obc- 21-33 yrs.
    for sc/st- 21-35 yrs.

Re: Can I give UPSC exam while studying second year B.Com?

    Hey there...

No, you are not yet eligible to appear for the exam.
The requirement to appear for the exam is that you must be a graduate from any recognized university and must be within the age limit of 21-30 years.
Also you can apply in your final year of graduation but you must have your certificates ready for the main exam as a proof that you've completed your final exams.

But you can definitely start your preparation right now. This will help you greatly going forward.
A step a time gives extra ordinary results, hence start your preparation right away so that you can do it slowly and leisurely.

    All the best!!
