CDS exam stands for combined defence services which is conducted by upsc.

CDS exam eligibility;-

----you must be graduate from a recognized university in science subject.

---age limit is 19-23 years.

--you must be Indian citizen.

Dear IAF - Indian Air Force Section comes under two different bodies which are - NDA and CDS and you can apply for both if you have following eligibility criteria

Eligibility through NDA Examination

Must have passed class 12th with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject and any one of the biology/chemistry/computer science from a recognized board and age should not be less than 16.5 years and more than 19 years and relaxation in upper age will not be provided to any category candidates

Eligibility for UPSC CDS Examination

Must have a bachelor's degree with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject and any one of the biology/chemistry/computer science from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination and age should not be less than 19 years and more than 23 years

Dear if you wants to apply for Air Force jobs then you must have above mentioned qualification then in both exams you will have to qualify written examination and interview process then you will get the final selection and that is why you need to prepare hard for both examinations

If you are pursuing MCA then you have crossed your 19 years of age and you are not eligible to apply for NDA exam but you can apply for CDS examination if your did not cross your 23 years of age then only you can apply for CDS examination between - 25-05-2013 to 24-06-2013 and you can appear for examination at - 08-09-2013

Yes ,why not since you are pursuing your master's degree ,you are definitely eligible for the IAF .

IAF stands for the Indian Airforce academy.If you wish to join this academy you need to clear the Combined defense services.This examination is organised twice every year by the UPSC.

The eligibility criteria for the IAF are as follows:

>>You need to have bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.Since you are pursuing your final year of post graduation so you are 100% eligible for the examinations.

>>The age limit for the IAF is 19-23 years .No relaxations applicable.

>>You must be an Indian citizen.

>>Both male and female candidate can apply for this exam.

>>You must be physically fit .

The important dates for the CDS 2013 are as below:

Date of notification:25/05/2013

Last date of receiving application:24/06/2013

Date of examinations:08/09/2013.

For IAF examination consists of

Absolutely yes you can apply for cds exam in 3rd sem of mca.
Eligibility is any graduation and your age should between 19 to 23 years and you must having an indian citizenship.
